Early on as Project Lead!
I brought together other core division leads to drive alignment on the roadmap. We were building systems of work accountability and ownership to ensure every deliverable was not only finished on time, but carried the clarity of shared responsibility.
Going above and beyond
Surrounded by teammates, we leaned into action by creating collaterals for a SCADpro kickoff session hosting 10+ companies. This moment had to be captured, showcasing how I approached leadership: proactive, collaborative and purpose-driven.
Balancing stakeholder communication
In addition to setting direction in team meetings, I carried the responsibility of facilitating communication between Deloitte senior strategy managers, consultants, and SCADpro leaders. My role centered on earning trust by communicating with precision, balancing perspectives, and ensuring strategy aligned with execution.
Empowering every voice at checkpoint
Checkpoint presentations were more than progress updates, they were opportunities to showcase our collective effort. I made it a priority that every contributor, not just the leads, had the chance to present their work. Recognizing people openly became a key driver for team motivation.
Adapting on the spot
At the final checkpoint presentation, I discovered a new audience; Deloitte representatives from other projects that were unfamiliar with the project were also in attendance. In real time, I reshaped my delivery, tailoring our story so new listeners could understand both the story and impact. It was a lesson on the power of storytelling under pressure.
